Support — Alta: Morning Yoga & Stretch

A few answers that might save you the wait

I subscribed on another phone. How do I get Plus here? Open Alta, go to the You tab, tap Have a look under Alta Plus, then Restore a purchase. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID, so it follows you to any device signed in with the same one.

How do I cancel? On your iPhone: Settings → your name at the top → Subscriptions → Alta. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Plus until the end of the period you have paid for. If you are inside your free week, cancelling costs nothing.

I was charged and did not mean to be. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us: go to reportaproblem.apple.com and choose the Alta charge. Apple decides refunds directly.

A session will not download. The first play of a Plus session needs a connection to fetch the audio; after that it is kept on your phone. If it fails, try again on Wi-Fi. If it keeps failing, tell us which session and we will look at the file on our end.

Where is my history? I got a new phone. Alta keeps your check-ins and sessions on your phone only — there is no account and no server, which is also why there is nothing of yours for anyone to lose.

Whether your history followed you depends on how the new phone was set up. Restored from a backup of the old one, it comes across with everything else in that backup. Set up as a new phone, Alta starts fresh, and there is no way for us to send it over — we never had a copy.

Your Plus subscription comes across either way, via Restore a purchase.

Reminders stopped arriving. Alta deliberately sends fewer reminders the longer you have been away, and none at all after a while. Opening the app once starts them again. If you never got any, check Settings → Notifications → Alta on your phone.

Something else? Write to us. Include what you were doing and what happened instead — that is usually all we need.
